How to use this calendar
Pick a pattern, choose your crew, then set the date your cycle starts. If you do not know the start date, open Don't know the start date? and enter which day of the cycle you are on today.
The strip next to the calendar shows one full cycle at a glance. The crew table shows the next 14 days for every crew, so you can see who covers when you are off.
If your rotation is not listed, use the custom schedule builder and type it in day by day.
Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent anywhere.
Questions
What is a rotating schedule?
A rotating schedule moves workers through a repeating cycle of shifts and days off, so a plant, hospital, police or fire station is covered around the clock. Crews share the same pattern but start it on different days.
Which shift pattern is right for me?
Use the comparison table on this page. It lists the cycle length, average weekly hours and longest stretch on and off for each pattern.
How do I add my shifts to Google or Apple Calendar?
Press Download calendar (.ics). It creates shift events for the next 12 months. Import the file into your calendar app.
Is this my official schedule?
No. It is generated from the standard version of each pattern. Your employer's posted schedule is the one that counts. If yours differs, use the start date and crew to line it up, and check the result against your posted schedule.
